I know some of you have been using my weekly maintenance cleaning subscription for a while now. But others are still wondering what kind of cleaning this even IS…. I thought I would try and explain pictorially today.

If you are new to hiring a house cleaner- or to my abilities- let me give you an example:

Say you have a dirty oven, you have a weekly subscription, and you wonder what to have cleaned this week: your oven, or your house…. Well, the answer is: both is unlikely to happen in those two hours, BUT, during a quick 2 hr cleaning I would usually be able to QUICKLY wipe down an oven and stove that have been maintained by normal cleaning (I.e. in my normal weekly cleaning, or by you). HOWEVER, To get deep grime off and stains, it will probably take 1 or 2 hours just for the oven alone… (I would deep clean the inside, outside walls, edges, grooves, etc…) so, you will want to choose “just the oven” for that kind of 2 hr cleaning… The same concept works for grimy floors, stained showers, or any house that has gone longer than 2 weeks without a house cleaner (just dust? I will still take some time to expunge).

If I am done early, I almost ALWAYS get to the next thing you needed done.

You can see where a two hour cleaning is unlikely to be your right choice if you have not had your house cleaned in a long time. But, a maintained house will LOVE 2 hour shines! It is definitely still ok to dive right in to a subscription if you want your house to shine within a couple of weeks of consistent work. Just please be patient… A little more will be done each time I come!
