LIFE Lesson 1: CLEANING IS AN ART YOU MAY NOT BE BORN TO DO

CLEANING ISN’t Boring. it’s art

It all begins with an idea. The idea that cleaning is for a certain type of person: maybe someone who has no choice or for…. your mom…. lol. Or, for someone who is …, someone else. Suddenly, we call cleaning “boring”. In answer to that, I say: “WHAT?!”

Well, it might be true that we were not ALL born to clean; but, I definitely was. I see how it helps people and makes them smile… and I can’t relate to it being “boring” at all! He he.

I have discovered something else about cleaning. It’s an art! More on that soon…

We’ve all heard the 5-year-old in your life say “that’s boring!” in response to a request to clean up some toys in their room. We maybe get stuck in that thought as a kid. But there is a BIG difference between thinking cleaning is boring and growing up to realize it is necessary but you’re just not hearing it “call your name” all the time.

To be honest, at home I don’t always hear that little voice nudging me to get things done. Or judging me until I clean the floors, lol. You might hear that “little mom” more that I do!

However, when I go to clean a house I suddenly get a surge of energy. The best way I can describe it is that my brainwaves synchronize on one main thought -what is the best and most efficient way to share the ARTISTRY of cleaning with this house!?

Every space has a different story… and it is my job to give it back its voice, and give YOU back your home. I know that sounds a bit etherial but honestly, it is not “spiritual” so much as ART to me. I LOVE the art of cleaning. It makes me smile when my client smiles. Cleaning is both profound and simple. One thing “clean” is NOT… is boring.

So, if I EVER hear “cleaning is boring” again… I may just laugh in your face! He he. Be honest. You WOULD clean. But, in this busy world, most who would clean, simply can’t. I get it!

ALL my clients are super embarrassed about their home being dirty. But, I say, no one should EVER be embarrassed to share their space with me. A dirty home is my cleaning canvas. Dirt is just life showing off; the house would be clean… but kids and stress and jobs and …life makes a space dirty before you can even get your morning cup of coffee! I GET IT! And I am here to HELP YOU WITH THE “BORING” things. Because, Cleaning ISN’T boring!
