IN THIS LIFE LESSON:
You have heard of window washing Robots. Vacuums and Mops… Can they do my job? Here is my highlights on why/why not:
No matter where I go, I seem to see a mini Robot Vacuum gathering dust in the corner (pun intended. ha) In fact, quite often I clean THEM too. I have also heard of mops “running” after the elderly (scaring them half to death), or children sitting on these bots as they try to work (who can blame them… disk mops look like perfect mobility chairs for kids! lol). I have also done the research on window washing bots…out of curiosity - and have seen the reviews of them crashing off the windows!
Well, even as tech gets better I have to say…
What can they do well? I think we all agree that a robot is an easy way to maintain a perfectly clear floor (or window). But it takes the human touch to make the floor/window/wall/shower READY for that sort of cleaner… and even then, I am the polisher after everything is “cleaned” by those Robots, or the sorting hand who helps clean the debris for them.
I am of the opinion that these little helpers don’t replace us… but we can sure take the helping hand when they are around! Even so, my clients need me/us at dreamitCLEAN.
I will be happy to empty your Robot…they are often full of toys and things that make it dead to you (just let me know). And, then with my own dustpan, mop, and cleaning solutions I will fix anything you need me to. While your (now working) bot does its little cleaning path, I will use “elbow grease” and attention to detail to make sure that EVERY surface has its own tailored soap, cleaned edge/curtain/baseboard/door/laundered sheets/sorted space/whatever you need WITH specialized custom attention. I will be happy to follow your Robot and clean up after it. HE he.
Thanks for letting me “SoapBox”.
